Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When a page is requested, the server automatically processes data transmitted by the browser: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, previously visited page (referrer), browser type, and operating system.
This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are deleted after 30 days. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
Contact by email
If you send me an email, I process your address and the information in your message in order to answer your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if the inquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Emails are processed by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.
The data is deleted once the inquiry has been completed, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Under German commercial and tax law, I retain business correspondence for up to ten years.
Storage of the color scheme setting
When you switch between the light and dark color scheme, your browser stores this choice in its local storage. The setting remains on your device and is not transmitted to the server. It is stored at your request and is permitted without consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). An informal message to the email address above is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
